(Lists, other people's poetry, and the majority of my own writing will be open to the public, but for personal reasons everything I'd written for the Hooker!Verse is now private and inaccessable. Everything personal will be going under a friend's lock after a week as public posts. Most of my fic is hosted here, but my work can also be found in the archives links listed in the sidebar.)

Things are fine, just making some changes to better soothe my brain on some stuff. There's been a few people I'd rather not see lurking on my blog lately, and I've been way too open about certain things in my personal life on here to begin with, so I'm just trying to cut down on that. Hi! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I originally wrote that story for a friend, and since I'm no longer all that active in the "Glee" fandom anymore I set it to private, but I'd be happy to make it public again for a week if you'd like to read it. :)

I don't know you at all and I don't know why you've made this decision, but I really enjoyed your Hooker!verse fics and was wondering if you could make them public again.

Since I don't know you, I don't know if you had specifically intended for them to be private or if this is just a bad time to ask, so I apologise if that is the case.

On a mostly unrelated note, I read some of your original fiction while hemming and hawing over whether or not to post this comment. You're a really good writer, so kudos.

Thank you! That's so kind of you to say, and I really appreciate your taking time out of your day to say so. I've friends-locked my Hooker!Verse stories for personal reasons, but I'd be happy to make any one you'd like to read again public for a week or so if you'd let me know which ones.

I was actually doing kind of a mass reread of all the Hooker!verse stories, so it would work best for those purposes if you friended me.
But I thought that might be kind of weird for obvious reasons.

Hey! I know it's been a while since I updated this LJ, but I'm still using it. I use it more for a fic repository than anything else, and I have a big "what-I've-been-up-to-in-the-past-4-years" post sitting in a word doc on my laptop that I have yet to post. I'll probably put it up once I get out of this hospital waiting room (visiting my dad - nothing serious, but still worrisome enough for an overnight stay) and get home.

ANYWAY, it's good to hear from you! I hope things are going well for you, and that this insane election isn't stressing you out too much! ;)

Hello, I've just realised that when thanking you for the feedback on my Cho & Roger story, I forgot to suggest that we friend each other either here or on DW. My DW is now the primary journal for me, and I only crosspost on LJ, but I'd love it if you followed me on either. I make only fanfic posts and fanfic related posts, but I understand if your journal is more personal and perhaps you don't want me to see your friends-locked posts.

Paula!! Absolutely not a problem - I am always forgetting things like this in the middle of exchanges, but I'm happy to add you here and on DW! I honestly don't update either LJ or DW as much as I used to - I'm on tumblr now more often than anything, and you're more than welcome to friend me there, too! - and LJ especially has become more of an additional fanfic repository these days over a personal blog. Not saying that there isn't personal stuff here! But it's more on tumblr these days, since it's a bit more user-friendly on my phone and more of my friends have migrated to that platform in particular. But I would love to talk more!! I truly loved your fic, and I would love to have another fannish friend to enjoy things with! :)

Yay, friends! I've now added you both here and on DW. I can do it on tumblr (where, too, I'm paulamcg) as well, but unfortunately I haven't got used to doing anything on tumblr. I still feel that interaction on journals suits me best, and I just hope to do my share in keeping LJ and DW communities active. In any case I'd love to be in touch with a like-minded HP writer wherever it's possible. Thank you for your kind words about that gift fic as well as for friending!
